Go4WhatsUp — WhatsApp business automation
Go4WhatsUp is Inwizards' own WhatsApp business automation product — campaign messaging, automated replies and conversation workflows for businesses that talk to their customers on WhatsApp. We built it, shipped it and ran it for real businesses, and that operating experience is the foundation of our conversational AI work today. Not our first automated conversation.
What Go4WhatsUp does
Automated business communication on the channel customers actually answer — organized, consistent and on time.
Campaign messaging
Send announcements, offers and updates to customer lists as WhatsApp campaigns — one message, delivered consistently, instead of staff forwarding texts one by one.
→Automated replies
Incoming questions get an immediate, useful first response — so an enquiry that arrives at a busy moment is acknowledged instead of ignored.
→Conversation workflows
Multi-step flows guide a customer from first message to outcome — collecting the details a business needs and routing the conversation to the right next step.
→Business-hours handling
Messages that land after closing time still get a response and a follow-up path, so no conversation goes cold overnight.
→One organized channel
Customer communication lives in one place instead of scattered across personal phones — the difference between a channel a business runs and one that runs the business.
→Customers moved to WhatsApp. Businesses were answering by hand.
Through the 2010s, WhatsApp became the front door for a huge share of business conversations — orders, enquiries, follow-ups, complaints. The businesses we worked with were handling all of it manually: someone's phone, someone's memory, messages missed at busy hours and forgotten overnight.
So we built our own product for it. Not an integration of someone else's tool — our product, which meant our uptime, our support queue, and our name on every message that did or didn't go out. That is a very different education from writing software and handing it over.
Go4WhatsUp is one of three products Inwizards has shipped, alongside OnlineeMenu and the Amazon Connector for Odoo.
What building it taught us
Running conversational automation as a product owner — not an integrator — left lessons we still build on.
Owning the channel changes you
When it's your product, every missed message, delivery failure and confused customer is your problem at product-owner depth. We learned what it takes to keep a business communication channel dependable — because we were the ones accountable when it wasn't.
Automation has to earn trust
An automated reply that feels robotic, arrives at the wrong moment, or can't hand over to a human does more harm than silence. Tone, timing and a clean path to a real person are product decisions, not afterthoughts — we learned that from live conversations, not theory.
The straight line to AI agents
Go4WhatsUp automated conversations with rules and workflows. Today's AI agents do it with language models — but the hard parts are the same: knowing what the customer wants, responding usefully, escalating when it matters. We solved those once as a product owner before ever doing it with AI.
