Microsoft on Thursday reported that its quarterly profit increased to US$6.5 billion, increased by its shift to computing services hosted in the internet cloud.
The US technology Giant said revenue in the recently ended quarter climbed to US$23.3 billion, with US$7.4 billion of that because of its “intelligent cloud” offerings.
“Advancement over our cloud stages drove solid outcomes this quarter,” Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said in a discharge.
“Customers Are seeking to Microsoft and our thriving partner ecosystem to accelerate their very own digital transformations and to recreate new chance in this age of intelligent cloud and intelligent edge.”
Microsoft also Said that cloud-based items such as Office 365 rose in the quarter, together with the number of Office 365 subscribers rising to 27 million.
